The Cambridge Primary Curriculum provides a strong foundation in key subjects while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and confidence. It supports personalised learning paths and develops the essential skills needed for future academic success.
Students are assessed through ongoing teacher assessments and Cambridge Primary Checkpoint exams at the end of Year 6 — standardised tests in English, Mathematics, and Science providing detailed performance feedback. Checkpoint exams are typically conducted in April.
The Cambridge Lower Secondary Curriculum is designed to nurture academic excellence, creativity, and critical thinking. Core subjects are taught using a structured, progressive approach to ensure students build deep understanding of key concepts.
Students are evaluated through regular classroom assessments and Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint exams at the end of Year 9. These internationally benchmarked tests provide detailed reports on students' strengths and readiness for upper secondary programmes.
The Cambridge Upper Secondary Curriculum offers two qualifications: Cambridge IGCSE and O Levels — both highly respected by universities and employers worldwide. IGCSE offers flexibility with coursework and oral assessments; O Levels emphasise written assessments. Both prepare students for A Levels, IB, or university.
Exams are conducted twice a year in May/June and October/November, with results released in August and January respectively.
Hear directly from the students and families who are part of the Sapitwa community.
Sapitwa has been like a second home to me, shaping me into the person I am today. Here, I've learned the importance of respect — of cultures, traditions, history, and beliefs. This school has instilled in me strong morals, a sense of discipline, and the understanding that hard work and dedication are what truly matter.
The teachers at Sapitwa are really calm and patient. If you don't understand a topic they are ready to explain it a hundred times. In all 8 years I have spent here I have not experienced bullying — the teachers and students are kind and friendly, which is what makes me love this school.
Sapitwa gave my child the confidence to ask questions and think independently. The Cambridge curriculum has set them up brilliantly — and the school community is truly special.
